This can include stitches for minor cuts, migraine headaches and other medical conditions that a normal doctor’s appointment can take care of. These do not require ongoing medical care in most cases; they do not require continuing medication in most cases.  The non-traumatic emergencies can also include simple bone breaks that require x-rays and casting.

There are also nervous system disorders that can be a secondary condition that is brought on by a disease like diabetes, which can affect the nervous system.  Many of the nervous system disorders can be debilitating, affecting the movements of the limbs, and affecting speech and in some cases even the brain. Most of these conditions do not require surgery, but will require ongoing medication and close medical monitoring to keep the condition from causing deterioration of health.

Posted In: Medical Conditions Index Continued, Men's Health

Men’s health includes a variety of medical conditions including diseases, sexual functions, fitness and exercise. These conditions can involve prostate health, erectile dysfunction, testosterone levels, heart disease, high blood pressure and depression. These are conditions that require medical attention and in some cases testing, medication and surgery for men to stay in good health.

Men should have one thorough physical each year that includes x-rays, blood work and stress testing and after the age of 40 should also include prostate testing. Conditions like high blood pressure and heart disease will require regular medical visits and medication taken daily.
