Mental health disorders require medical care, including therapy in many cases and affect millions of adults each year. These are disorders like depression, anxiety and panic attacks, bipolar disorder, ADD, ADHD, a wide range of phobias, schizophrenia, binge eating disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder are some of the conditions included in mental health.
These conditions should be closely monitored and in many cases with therapy they can be kept under control and even cured, while others are related to brain chemistry and the inner workings of the chemicals in the brain. These mental health conditions will require ongoing medical treatment with medication to equalize the brain chemistry.
